American DJ Revo 4 Lighting Effect

The American DJ Revo 4 Lighting Effect can be a four or 256 channel, DMX intelligent LED fixture. The Revo 4 has three different operating modes; sound-active, show mode, DMX controlled. The Revo 4 has twelve shows to choose from. The unit can be used as a stand alone unit or in a master/slave configuration. For best results use fog or special effects smoke to enhance the beams projections. The Revo 4 by American DJ will make a great addition to any mobile lighting system!

sound activated mode is best way to use. pattern dispersion is great. if you can link 2 together wirelessly and place them on opposite ends of the room with fog & lasers. looks good when used to light-up ceiling.

Auto play with music is great, program seems to have an endless array of designs.

You can use a controller for this light, but why would you... On it's own it gives such a great show that controlling it seems so unneeded.

I consider this my top light, and we use lasers. phase 4's, mirrors balls, stobes and more, and this light on it's own will give more entertainment. Just when you think you've seen every pattern of lights, BAM! another array pops up. Great light, hands down.
Value
Was this item an overall good value?
For the price you get a light that can stand on its own. Why pay for two cheaper lights that will only duplicate themselves and loose effect by overkill when this one will do more per cycle.
