American DJ Snap Shot LED Strobe Lighting Effect

The Snap Shot LED Strobe Lighting Effect is part of American DJ’s continuing pursuit for creating high quality affordable fixtures. The Snap Shot LED is a simple, small LED strobe. This strobe from American DJ is light weight and compact which makes it a great piece for mobile DJ’s, architectural lighting, or lighting effect. The flash speed can be adjusted using the knob on the rear of the Snap Shot LED. There are also IN/OUT mono plugs located at the rear. These plugs are used to connect to other Snap Shot LED’s.

I've only used them on two outings but so far so good.

They are very bright, like vomit inducing bright. In fact I put some gel pack transparancies over each just to add some color to the flash and create a mood other than chaos.

It doesn't get much easier. Plug it in and it's flashing. I linked two of these and bought a sound activated strobe controler.

They are a little bigger than I expected. Being LED I'm expecting them to last quite a while as long as I'm careful with them.

The ability to link units together is really cool. Synchronized strobing is a must. It would be great if there was a DMX or at least sound active feature to this series in future upgrades.
