The American Audio VMS4 USB Digital Workstation DJ Controller is a 4-Channel MIDILOG DJ controller that fuses both MIDI software and analog audio control of your CD players and turntables into one unit. The VMS4 is an open source controller that can be used with any MIDI audio DJ software thru USB with the on-board MIDI Learn feature. This solid DJ Workstation from American Audio is built for the demands of the mobile and professional club DJ.

i love all the features.... everything is programable and i love the interface with the computer.

a little hard to use at first, but i have only had it a couple days, I have been progressing on it, and i have heard no one complain about the different mixing and scratching i have done with it.manual kinda like stereo instructions from 1973. only somewhat helpful. my suggestion, JUST BUY IT AND USE IT.

i am q mobile dj, this has been great for the last couple gigs, i can't stop messing with everything an mixing it up , and all my clients love the way it looks and performs.

Yes it is sturdy and made well. It feels sturdy and heavy.

I love the looping on the fly and the ability to record your own samples(uo to 8 of them) or loops(also 8. The jog wheel also came in handy but the Virtual DJ lE was kind of a rip off because you couldnt get into the settings to configure your own personal custimizations.

The learning curve was actually a bit more difficult than I imagined. I transitionedfrom two turntables and a mixer to the VMS4and I have to say that I ennjoyed the learning experience and the vms4 made it possible to make fanstastic original mixes. The manuals were a bit lacking in details but if you know anything about djing it wont take long to figure it out.

My general opinion of this product is that it is a quality product that can take any aspiring dj to the next level with a little practice...For anyone on a slim budget that wants to spin I reccommend the VMS4 and I reccommend that you buy it from AmericanMusical.com
