The A7 is powered by two 50 watt RMS amps (one per driver). The front panel sports both a power switch and volume control. The rear panel houses controls for tweeter level and two shelving filters for high and low frequencies. The unit also features both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA input connectors, allowing it to be used in almost any audio application.


A.R.T. Technology
Accelerating Ribbon Technology tweeters and midrange units take a completely new approach in kinematics to move air and improve the quality of music reproduction. The ART principle achieves a 4:1 velocity transformation between driving diaphragm and driven air, i. e. the air moves in and out four times faster than the folds itself are moving. This superior motor is responsible for the enormous clarity and transient reproduction that is to be heard from the ART drive units.

Subject:Adam A7 Studio Monitors...
Quality: Out of the box these monitors look great. I've had no issues with build quality or components so far.
Features: These monitors look great, sound great, and so far have provided reliable performance revealing things I've never heard before in my old monitors.
Ease of Use: Setup is easy and they perform well right out of the box with all of their controls set to default. I setup my A7's through my Benchmark DA which was as simple as connecting two XLR cables. The manual was standard for studio monitors and was easy to follow. Immediately after listening to some old mixes through these monitors I noticed several glaring problems that my old monitors never revealed. They are much more linear then my last set of monitors.
Sound: They sound great. Their response is very solid across the frequency spectrum.
Reliability: I've only spent a few weeks with them and so far they have been great.
Overall: I think this is a great offering from Adam to get into a solid set of studio monitors without breaking the bank.
