Product Description

The AKG C3000B large-diaphragm cardioid condenser was designed for universal use in the studio, in broadcast applications, and to artfully tackle the rigors of the stage. The AKG C3000B has a gold sputtered, 1 inch Mylar diaphragm and produces the classic warm & transparent sound that AKG has developed through five decades of engineering expertise. The switchable -10dB pad and 12dB/octave low frequency cut make it versatile for both vocal and instrument applications. Its classic character and rugged construction allows the C3000B to work durably in live sound applications. Thoughtful construction includes an internal suspension cradle, a two-part, heavy-duty body and hard gold-plated contacts that resist aging and corrosion.
