Designed specifically for monitoring in noisy environments, the AKG K171 Studio combines the benefits of a closed-back design with the light weight and comfort of supra-aural headphones. The AKG K171 Studio is an excellent choice for DJ and broadcast applications where no sound can bleed from the headphones into live mic. The closed-back, loud and rugged design gives the AKG K171 a different low-frequency character than the K141 Studio, yet maintains its comfort and flexibility. Also new is the connector type used for the detachable cable. Responding to customer demand, the mini TRS jack originally used on the K141 Studio and K240 Studio has been replaced with a mini XLR connector. This connector, a professional standard, is now widely available. Impedance: 55 ohms. Frequency range: 18 Hz to 26,000 Hz.
