Quality: This is a very well-made, durable product.
Features: Comes with a hard shell case! And just incase you have an extra pencil condenser around, there is an extra compartment in the foam just under the C430s that can be removed. It would be nice if the pack came with another D40, but at $100 per D40, it's fairly easy to add on (which I did).
Ease of Use: Very easy to use. At first I was skeptical of the D40 rim clips (thinking they would break), but after the first time of use it's just fine.
Sound: WOW!!!!!! I have tried a couple of other mics on my snare and toms, and every time there was unwanted tones and shallow results. But the D40s provide absolutely no unwanted tones AND THE DEEPEST, DARKEST, AND CLEAREST TOM SOUNDS I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE! (I can only imagine how the more expensive AKG mics sound O.O).
Value: Worth every cent.
