Quality:
Subject:yes! get it!
Quality: no question, they built this one to last.
Features: for what you pay it's fantastic. FX are a nice bonus, but not something I'd rely on just because you can't tweak them. (same as any other mixer in this range)
Ease of Use: easy peasy 1,2,threesy
Sound: this is an absolutely transparent mixer, even when cranking it! I've used it as a video feed submixer through a system set-up for 2,000 people.
Reliability: I know it'll work every time I pull it out.
Overall: I put five stars for a reason. Please please oh please don't mess with those Behringers you've been looking at!

Subject:A wise decision!
Quality: Very sturdy and solid. I don't have to worry about being too rough with it.
Features: This mixer is all around nice and does it's job better than I would have expected, so I would have to say everything.
Ease of Use: After a speedy driver install it's ready to go.
Sound: I bought this as a quick and cheap replacement and couldn't be more pleased with the sound quality. No hissing or other annoying unwanted anomalies, just perfect sound the way it was meant to be.
Reliability: Works every time, when and where I need it and doesn't give any lip.
Overall: The size and the features make this Mixer the perfect choice for the price. You won't be disappointed.

Subject:You can't go wrong with this one!
Quality: This mixer is made with lots of genius and is every bit as good as the Alan & Heath board I had a few years back minus about $350.00 from the price tag. It also has a lot more features than the Alan & Heath mixer.
Features: Just about everything you could want from a mixer: Tons of very real preamp effects, NO audible self noise regardless of the number of tracks recorded!
Ease of Use: If you know how to use a mixer, using this gem is like tying your shoes or...
Sound: I'm recording through this with a MXL 770 and Apex 190 and the sound produced is HUGE and has lots of depth and punch - also this board requires a lot less track editing after recording than my last board did.
Reliability: The Alesis Mutimix8 was actually the first mixer I ever bought...I used my last one for about two years and sold it towards a more expensive board (which turned out to be less desirable) so now I've got an Alesis Multimix8 again and I'm sure it will last a long time - these boards are solid and really well made.
Overall: Great! I'd recommend this to anyone for professional use or someone looking to get into the world of music production...as I said before, you really can't go wrong with this one.
