Alvarez RD12 Regent Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar is a great sounding 6-string acoustic that comes with a hard-shell wood case. The RD12 Regent has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, classic tone woods that generate a warm and well-balanced tone. Alvarez has made the neck profile on the RD12 a little finer so it’s easier to play and is constructed using a dovetail neck joint that optimizes the transfer of energy between the neck and body.

The RD12 Regent acoustic is fitted with the Alvarez bi-level bridge to carry more vibration to the top, which improves tone and resonance, and the PPS saddle and nut help to improve response and sustain. This instrument has been finished using an electrostatic painting process for a more even finish that uses less paint in its application. This allows the guitar to sing a little more and it also looks fantastic.
