QUALITY: Ampeg is far better than anything else In my experience.
FEATURES: The horn control is a very nice feature.
I like to turn it off at home so that there is complete silence (no hiss) when I'm not playing, but use it when playing in a band so that it cuts through better without having to turn up and overpower the mix with low end.
EASE OF USE: The only difficult thing about using this cabinet is that it is HEAVY, but it's worth the trouble to sound so good.
VALUE: Well worth the price because you could buy two 4x10 cabs and not sound as good as this one.
SOUND: I'm very happy with it's ability to handle low end without distorting and the adjustable horn is nice also. It sounds great playing with a pick, fingers, or slap and pop.
STYLE: Rock, Funk, Blues, Metal
MUSIC EXPERIENCE: 10 + years on Bass 20+ years on drums

QUALITY: It's higher in Price than other amps, but it's
heavy and made to last a lifetime.
FEATURES: The lower range, of the HLF, you relly don't need
larger low end speakers, the horn brings out the high range, Its all one combine package of sound, love it.
EASE OF USE: If you were dumb as a box of rocks, you could still plug up the cabinet, and adjust the horn.
VALUE: It does cost more than other amps , but you pay for pure tone and quality, hope I never have to sell it.
SOUND: Ampeg to me has a sould all of it's own, with that low end growl, i light up the stage everynight and probably the nest 25 years with my Ampeg.
STYLE: I've played all Styles , Enjoy New County, And Classic Rock Blues , And my own songs
MUSIC EXPERIENCE: Been playing approximatly 35 years, lots of bands Mostly Weekend Gigs
OVERALL: It is a Wonderful product, I've own Peavey |

| Subject: | good solid 410 cabinet |
| Quality:
| This is a pretty decent constructed cabinet. Overall its going to be all you will need to play most venues. The only downside that the covering as with all Ampeg cabs can rip fairly easy. some of the metal fixtures and the rubber stoppers at the bottom look a little weaker than i would like but I havent noticed any defect. |
| Features:
| This amp is almost twice as loud as my standard 410 cabinet. It does have a nice knob on the back to adjust the tone of the horn. It has a bar handle on the back and two wheels. tilt and roll for transporting. So far its a little harder to get around then my four caster wheeled previous Ampeg. Also if you slide it down stairs on its back the torex covering can easily tear. I noticed some people attach sheet metal at that location to defeat this. |
| Sound:
| The tone is super warm and realistic. Alot of low end if you need it. At 4 ohms Its nearly twice the power of the standard 8 ohm ampeg. If you area solid state person and enjoy the sound of Hartke rigs I wouldnt suggest this cabinet. The tone is perfect for an Ampeg Classic head. |
| Reliability:
| My first ampeg cabinet ive now had for 14 years and replaced one speaker on it. My ampeg classic head is the best tone ive found and its fairly durable all things considered it being a tube amp. I can tell this 410hlf cabinet will match the durablility of all Ampegs products. I tend to beat my stuff up and though it doesnt look pretty it holds together in one piece. |
| Overall:
| great warm realistic tones. decent structure and design. Great name in Ampeg reliability. |
| Value:
| the money spent on this cabinet will be returned to you in at least ten years of playing it at venues or just in the studio. |

| Quality:
| A very high quality finish and attentoin to detail. It shuold last forever as it is built like a tank. |
| Features:
| The handle and casters are good for moving it around and the hookups are idiot free. Switchable ohm loads would be nice. |
| Sound:
| It will wake up any sounds that you should here from your bass. The clarity and low end punch are amazing. |
| Reliability:
| It should be around after I pass away. |
| Overall:
| I could not see any bad things except the weight but to get that AMPEG sound the 8-ply birch and heavy drivers are the best. |
| Value:
| You get what you pay for. Don't go cheap as you will regret not buying this cab. |
