This is a great, compact little lav, this version has a trs mini plug that works with my DSLR, and with an adapter, my field mixer. Good voice quality and sensitivity, for the price you can't beat it!

Pretty straightforward. Just don't get the button battery in backward, the polarity markings on the amp module are hard to see.
Sound
How is the tone?
Without a/b test with the Tram50's I've used, I can't compare qualitativly, but the sound is pleasing and more than adequate for any interview.

Your general opinion of this product.
I love this little mike, have used its predecessor (until I accidentally fried it with phantom power) for several years. This version is better because the trs plug is compatable with more current recorders and dslr inputs.

Seems to be made well. The cable is thinner because it is meant to go through clothing and no one would want to bear the wieght of a full size mic cable. Time will tell how durable the thin cable is...
