The M1255B features a fully integrated preamp and was designed with very high sensitivity for effective distance micing. Since the mic preamp is built right into the capsule, the audio signal is balanced right from the capsule output, allowing for cable runs up to 1000 feet, with no noise or loss of high frequencies. The M1255B's cardioid pattern and power make it an exceptional choice for choir, overhead stage, or audience micing.
The M1255B has complete immunity from RF interference caused by cell phones and GSM devices and the black matte finish minimizes glare in video applications. The M1255B requires 18-52 volts phantom power and ships with a 25 foot cable (mini XLR to standard XLR connector), mic stand clip, hanging clip with adjustable tilt, windscreen, and carry pouch.
