Audix

The Audix OM3 Dynamic Vocal Microphone is an American-made, hand held vocal mic designed specifically for live performance. It’s been said that the Boss knows best and the OM3 has been Bruce Springstein’s mic since the beginning of forever. But that little bit of history is not enough of a reason for you to consider choosing the Audix OM3 as your own personal vocal mic.

A pretty good reason might be that the very smooth and very powerful Audix OM3 features the original Audix VLM (very low mass) dynamic capsule design that eliminates any nasty notches throughout the mics entire 50-18kHz range, and that makes the OM3 an excellent choice for vocals on stage or in the studio. If you are impressed by numbers the 144dB SPL capability, hypercardioid pattern with greater than 25dB off axis rejection (for ridiculously high stage level before the hint of any feedback), and super low handling noise are just some of the credentials that make the OM3 the best sounding professional performance mic available for anywhere near the price.

To drive it all home every Audix OM3, from the dent dodging spring steel grill to the gold plated XLR balanced output, is designed, built, and meticulously tested and performance certified at Audix Engineering in Portland, Oregon. Maybe it’s time you owned your own American classic.
