We all spend good money on our amps/cabinets/monitors but sometimes the floor itself works against us. Speaker cabinets can interact with the floor, resulting in a loss of intelligibility. The GRAMMA is an incredibly effective device that's used to float an amp or loudspeaker and yields nearly total acoustic isolation, resulting in a purity of tone that has to be heard to be believed! GRAMMA comes complete with a carrying handle, road-ready carpet, Studiofoam Wedges (underneath) and hi-density PlatFoam. 1 or 2 GRAMMAs (23 x 15 inch) will support most amps, speaker cabinets, subwoofers & monitors weighing up to 300 lbs.

What are people saying about the new GRAMMA?
Auralex products are unchallenged both live and in the studio. I love Auralex's new GRAMMA. Onstage it really smooths all my guitar tones. In clubs, theaters and even outdoors, the GRAMMA really makes a huge difference... The production crew of Tower of Power was so impressed, they started using them underneath the horn section monitors, the keyboardist's LESLIE speaker and several drum mics... FANTASTIC results all the way around.
Jeff Tamelier, Guitarist, Tower of Power
...Low end much more focused. I was able to dial in exactly what I wanted, w/out room resonance's.
My two recording amps stay on the stands. If we switch amps, they go right back on the stands.
All the little buzzes & rattles normally in a room go away immediately.
Lee Roy Parnell, Vanguard Recording Artist
Awesome... made all the difference in playing small rooms... Cleaned up my sound... I now enjoy my full volume tone at lower volumes.
Benito DiBartoli, Blues guitarist
Low Frequency Drum Resonance Isolation... What a concept! I recommend the PlatFoam for any drummer who needs to eliminate complaints from the neighbors or family members. I would also highly recommend it for studios that want to prevent low frequency resonance bleed. The PlatFoam is simple to use, simple in concept and is simply amazing!
Dendy Jarrett, Nashville Drummer/ MusicPlayer.com's Drum Channel Editor

| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| premise is sound, effect is stubtle. Do not expect a night day result. |

| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
|
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| Not a must have piece but if you are playing off a wood or hard reflective floor I ould say it would be very good to have. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| Nice looking, basically a particle board on top, thick, seems strong, underside is heavy foam and a wedge baffle. It sits on a dense foam not rubber or wood. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| a litle bummed it is shorter than my 4x12 cab, I expected it to hold the cab, perhap the notion was for the cab to sit flat and not be on its rubber pads or to prevent someone from not removing the casters. An air gap might ruin the dampening effect, I am guessing as to their design purpose. |
