Deep Arched Top A deep arched top is used on several B.C. Rich models. The deep arch is achieved by increasing the body center by approximately 5/8" and then gently sloping the arch toward the side of the instrument and leveling out just as the slope reaches the edge. A deep arch top when applied to a B.C. Rich shape gives an air of elegance and sophistication. Many of the B.C. Rich Handcrafted instruments are requested with a deep arch top style. This year B.C. Rich is offering more deep arch tops in their production models in a variety of shapes and colors. Bolt-on Construction A number of BC Rich guitars use a classic Bolt-on construction. On these instruments a neck (typically maple) is bolted on with 4 screws to the body. This construction offers some added flexibility in the instruments adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future. BC Rich BDSM Pickups BC Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched, which simply means that the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately. Then they are tested and matched in pairs (Neck and Bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced, sonically matched tone.

| seems to be well made even that p/u selecter toggle switch was broken however customer service was right on it & shipped another before receiving return,thanks customer service. |

| basicly a good buy for the price had & have guitars that cost a lot more that didn't play any better than this,if pups were able to make pinch harmonics i would give it a 5 accross the board,i did some adjustments to my amps eq cut bass treble wide open & almost nailed them but no cigar imay need to try a preamp or replace the pups. |

| can be bright & snappy or dark & smooth they just lack harmonical over tones a little thin for pinch harmonics like i said before. |
