Better than Boss version! Quality: Good overall, I can't see any problems. Again, not something that will be used heavily in the set. Sound: I'm still shocked. Of course, it's NOT going to sound like a D28 or Taylor. It's designed to give you a passable acoustic sound through your electric rig, and it does that very well. On the Jumbo setting, it gives a very good acoustic feel, especially on the single note lines. The controls are very sensitive, so tweaking and getting the right sound may take a little work. It is nowhere near as noisy as the Boss unit, and the key is not to crank all the levels or it will start to overload. It seems to like single coils better than humbuckers, at least through my rig. Using the bridge pickup on my p90 Les Paul brought some nice sounds. Reliability: Didn't rate it really high because it IS made of plastic. However, because of what it is, I can't imagine using it for more than a song or two, so it won't get the workout my other pedals do - we'll see. Overall: I got this as a scratch-and-dent. I tried the Boss AC3, but couldn't stand the noise it made, and the sound wasn't that great. Heard a demo of this on YouTube and liked it enough to try it. Playability and Feel: Very easy to navigate through the controls, even without the manual, you could dial it in with minimal difficulty. It should be noted that the "Reverb" control is actually for the reverb of the "box" of the virtual guitar. The more you turn it, the more it sounds like a mic INSIDE the guitar. Tone: Finish: The attack knob was VERY tight and hard to turn right out of the box. Everything else was OK. Behringer really needs to step up. Danelectro figured it out. Sound: It has a good decent sound with the standard setting I thought. Of all the others, this was the closest. The other settings just didn't cut it. Reliability: I play in a church for most of my gigs, and although I don't think anything would happen to it on my pedal board, I still wouldn't put a lot of money on it. Overall: I really wanted to like this pedal and was looking forward to hearing how it sounded. Frankly, it makes some decent sounds with the standard setting. The major problem isn't really when it's being used, but when it's not. As soon as you turn it off, it makes an extremely loud hum that I could not get rid of. I tried different scenarios with different guitars and amps, but with the same result. It never came through my PA very well either. Plastic casing is a major turn-off (no pun intended).
