The Behringer CT100 Cable Tester is intelligent with 3-modes, microprocessor control, and it accepts virtually any connector type: XLR, mono and TRS phone (1/4", 1/8", TT), RCA and MIDI. The Behringer CT100 shows which input pin is connected to which output pin. Separate LED’s indicate proper shield connection and phantom power presence. The CT100 also offers an installed cable test mode and a continuity check plus a test tone generator. It is powered by two AA batteries. The CT100 is an indispensable tool that enables you to easily check the most common cables used by musicians and sound engineers. Faulty cables are a common cause of failure in live and studio situations. This microprocessor-controlled device was designed to ensure fast, reliable problem location. Various test modes and the included belt clip add to its flexibility.

Features: The intermittent detector is the best feature. Some cables can test ok, but ever time your act touches the cord it goes nuts. This prevents that from slipping by
Ease of Use: It doesn't get any easy for quick checks on known cables. You need to know a bit about soldering and wiring to correct anything you find

Features: Portable! It is a must for traveling. There is nothing worse then having to spend time looking for that faulty cable when you could be playing music instead. This little tester is a must for your gig bag. You can accomplish the same over-all test with a V.O.M. but the CT 100 saves you a lot of time.
Ease of Use: Super easy! I tested every cable in my gig box in one evening. The instruction manual is not very helpful. I have experience working with electronics but for the beginner the book leaves a lot to be desired.
Value: Good price.

Quality: The quality is middle of the road but you're not going to be banging it against walls right?
Features: This has all the features that a regular audio person would need. There is no speakon connection, but as a guitar player, I didn't need that.
Ease of Use: The instructions were not very specific and were difficult to understand. I know how to plug a cable in.
Value: I would say it's a pretty good value. As I stated before, if you treat this box well, it'll last you a long time.
