Product Description

Behringer DR400 Digital Stereo Reverb/Delay Pedal is the ultimate digital reverb/delay effects pedal.  Looking for soaking wet vintage reverb, and delay that sounds like it was borne of an especially fab late-night recording session in 1968? Look no further than the Behringer DR400.

Powered by the Behringer Real Sound Modeling (RSM) processor, the DR400  Digital Stereo Reverb/Delay Pedal offers three delay styles, four reverb styles and four styles that combine the two. Dedicated Tone and Reverb Time dials double as Feedback and Delay Time, depending on what mode you're in, while the Balance dial determines the perfect mix of clean and affected tone. There’s even a Tap function that allows you to dial in the delay tempo by pressing the footswitch. A dazzling blue LED indicates the power status and a top-quality on/off switch maintains awesome signal integrity. You can power this pedal with a 9 V battery or a Behringer PSU-SB DC power supply (not included). What is your overall opinion of this product?
I've always been a very simplistic and no frills blues guitarist, always getting exactly the tone I wanted by running my guitar straight into my amp with the occasional distortion pedal when playing small clubs or restaurants to get the amp to break up. Upon my new gig with a psych rock band I quickly realized I was going to have to build a pedal board, and most importantly do it on a budget while not sacrificing tone. Two effects I needed were a delay and a reverb (my amp doesn't have either) and I was looking at around $160 just for two seperate pedals. When I found this I jumped on it immediately, being that it is two pedals in one and that it's very adjustable to fit the specific sound you're looking for. Alongside that, the tap tempo is a great feature, being able to switch from a quick slapback to long sweeping delays with two taps. The only drawback is that this pedal will add a loud hum to your signal chain, whether it is on or off, and this can become really noticible.
