Behringer Ultramizer Pro DSP1424P ProcessorThe Behringer DSP1424P adds the added value of 24-bit resolution to the already hugely popular ULTRAMIZER PRO DSP1400P, plus much more. Its powerful new DSP engine lets you add multi-band, program-adaptive compression and limiting for both low and high frequencies while at the same time remaining absolutely "inaudible". Whether you want to increase the loudness of your mastering recording or double the loudness of your PA system without adding more amplifier power, the DSP1424P is the perfect tool. A peak limiter protects against any clipping and dangerous sound pressure levels and the built-in 3D stereo surround processor provides unbelievable spatial enhancement and improved stereo imaging, giving your mixes that often sought-after extra "gloss", while the noise reduction system keeps things clean. Despite the sheer scope of added functions and improved functionality, the DSP1424P is still super easy to use and operate, letting nothing come between you and your music. A free WINDOWS® editor is downloadable at BEHRINGER’s website. Behringer DSP1424P Features

QUALITY: Excellent quality, top notch filters!!
FEATURES: Perfect to enhance any mix, live or in studio!! Do not pay attention to users who do not understand how to use compression and expansion. It is dead silent when set correctly. Factory settings are good but you should fine tune to your own setup, as always. Beginners stick to factory settings, no problems!!
EASE OF USE: But be advised that it is a tweaking man's device. Icing on the cake. It makes a small PA sound huge when mixing through it.Just excite 80HZ and 8k set the input to limit like a brick wall and it is perfecto! Remember, rule of thumb, only use compression to beef up the bass and drums
VALUE: Great deal!! These features cannot be obtained in any other multi functioning sound maximizer.
SOUND: Totally clean and quiet compression for a controlled final mix, live or in studio!! Please be advised that improper use of compression is the | |

OVERALL: Bought this thing to use LIVE to pump up the volume and keep the overall volume loud with a low power amp. Really sounds thick. Had to work hard to get sound contained operfectly. Have it so the main mixer goes through the Ultramizer. when the main mixer is turned up it gets beefier without pegging the red and holds the bass tight so that it protects woofer overload. Run a great sounding dance tune with lots of low end from your CD into your mixer and then into the Ultramizer. Turn up the mix and watch the Ultramizer do its magic containing the sound!
Buy it and use these settings...you will be impressed!!

| This is a very dependable product. Clean and warm sounding. | | Features:
| The best feature would have to be the compressor. Pumping is minimal when set right. The noise gate filter is also a HUGE feature that is excellent. | | Ease of Use:
| Once I got to know all the presets, I started using it as my finalizer after a two hour learning curve. | | Sound:
| Sound quality is very clean compared to the more expensive units | | Reliability:
| No problem with it yet. I've had it for a year now. | | Overall:
| For the price, this unit is a MUST HAVE to finishing your cd. It works very well for a finalizer, and you can control the overall sound with just a few tweaks. | |

OVERALL: I bought one of these for our live sound. We have less than great speakers and it made a world of difference in our sound. The vocals became much clearer and out in front of the mix and the bass is awesome. Im about to order one for my project studio also. |
