Subject:Reset your altimeter...we're takin' off
Quality: This is a very well-made product and I have already attested to its dependability; I have gone through three trucks to drag the sound system trailer since I bought the first eq and this is only the first replacement eq I have purchased.
Features: This stereo one third octave equalizer has all of the features of the big dogs for a tiny fraction of the price. I love the light up faders and the multi-segment metering.
Ease of Use: This operates exactly like any top-shelf two channel third octave. It has the necessary rear panel features like balanced inputs and outputs and the front panel light up display is a blessing for a sound man.
Sound: A great equalizer should be invisible; this one is transparent, but not invisible. If I am mixing well and the band has a good night, the audience would never know that I don't have a rack full of esoteric equalizers. On a bad night, they still wouldn't know, but we won't go there...
Value: Okay, so if we have reset our altimeter and we are not comparing this to unit costing more than four times as much, this is an awesome value. I bought it to replace one I have used for six or seven years (one channel became intermittent on the old unit).
Do you own this product?: This is my third unit; I have specified the use of others in the school at which I teach. I like this equalizer.
