| Subject: | clay doesn't know what he's talking about |
| Quality:
| very well built, thick panels with good insulation |
| Features:
| flexibility is perfect for amateur users, many ways to connect your various gadgets. |
| Ease of Use:
| amateur |
| Sound:
| sound is very strong for speakers this size and price. maybe clay got a bad pair, but mine rock! they do not distort until almost full volume, and they lay waste to any $20. computer speakers i have ever heard. forget about those stupid, tiny unpowered speakers that plug into your ipod headphone jack, or any "docked" speaker system. these are the real deal. |
| Reliability:
| i blew all the fuses almost immediately, but it was a simple repair. just unscrew the back and replace the crappy stock fuses with quality and slightly higher amperage fuses, and the speakers work great. |
| Overall:
| these are perfect speakers for use w/ a computer or mp3 player if you want high quality, portable sound. i power them with an inverter and a 12V battery on my sailboat, and they are more than adequate. of course you can get more bang and better sound, but not for $100. this was money well spent. |
