| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| Well made, great tone, cranks loud enough to gig with, not too complicated, yet lots of tone options. |
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| The stock TAD tubes were too bright and fizzy to me.
Big improvement with some Svetlana, Mullard, or JJ's El34's, and a Sovtek 12AX7LPS in the gain channel. Now it has more warmth and smoother gain. Also nice to not have to re-bias the power tubes. |
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
