Boss BR900CD 8 Track Digital Recorder with CDR and Effects

The Boss BR900CD 8-Track Recorder stands out with its top-quality effects, realistic drum-pattern generator, vocal-correction and Mastering Toolkit, digital outputs, and internal CD burner.
No matter where you are - in your home studio or on the road - all you'll need is your instrument of choice, a BR900CD, and a set of headphones, and you can write, record, edit, mix, master, and burn a complete, polished CD! With the same reliable and friendly operation as the popular BR864, the BR900CD takes big steps forward by increasing the front-panel fader count from 4 to 8; adding a built-in CD-RW drive; adding two XLRs with phantom, and pitch-correction. And it still fits in your gig bag!

You'll be impressed with the quality of the built in mic too, since there is no mechanical noise (like a hard-drive) to interfere.

The BR900CD offers reverb, EQ, chorus, delay, and wah, plus and new-school power tools, such as vocal pitch-correction, intelligent harmony, bass simulation, COSM guitar amp & compressor models, and a mastering suite. Its rhythm programmer is packed with 292 expressive patterns that can even be customized.

Connect the BR900CD to other devices via USB. Import and export audio files and song data quickly and easily. The BR900CD records direct to Compact Flash - a 128MB card is included; record up to 624 minutes with an optional 1GB card.

Subject:This product is awesome
Quality: It seems to be made very well. I am looking forward to doing many things with this recorded.
Features: It has a very extensive manual with it but sometimes it is hard to understand exactly what you are supposed to do for a certain feature.
Ease of Use: It is pretty easy to use, however, I did find the manual sometimes confusing. It does have a very extensive manual with it but this is my first time using a recorder like this so I had to read the instructions several times in some cases.
Sound: The tone is good.
Reliability: I have only just gotten it so I don't know how it will stand up over time.
Overall: I think this is a very good product.

Subject:Pretty Handy!
Quality: The quality on this is quite good it's made of a hard plastic, I have dropped it a few times it never hurt it any. I did have one of the EQ sliders pop out on me but it was pretty easy to put back in and have not had any troubles since.
Features: There is alot of Features on here, i got it because it had Vocal correction and a Drum machine. Which was kind of a waste i never use either I use it as a center point for my Mac Production. there are alot of features on here to play with, you can spend countless hours recording and being unable decide which effect you like better.
Ease of Use: it's not to bad like any new equipment it takes a bit to get used to it, my best advice is keep the manual handy, like i said earlier there is alot of features on this recorder.
Sound: I really hated to give the sound a average rating, but i never use the effects on here because they just sound kind of cheap, Sorry thats just my opinion. but if your just in a hurry and want to record and idea real quick the effects are fine. but i have never done a final take with the effects on here, once again I leave that to my production software.
Reliability: i've had it over a year never had any problems
Overall: I really like this Multitrack recorder, It has come in very handy for me. If it broke or somthing happend to it, I think i would defently look at buying another.
