Product Description

Boss DD20 Giga Delay Twin Effects Pedal offers up to 23 seconds of pro-quality delay!
The DD20 provides 11 delay modes including tape delay, reverse mode and new Smooth and Twist modes for creating entirely new effects. With up to 23 seconds of delay - the most of any pedal effect - the DD20 can easily double as a sound-on-sound pedal. And finally, delay times are shown in seconds/seconds! Delay time can be quickly set, thanks to a new push-button knob that allows fine adjustments or by tapping the pedal.

Delay mode switching is seamless due to the DD20's memory function. Twist mode creates a wild delay effect similar to over the top manipulation of an analog tape echo, while Smooth creates ultra-smooth delay effects. Connections include stereo 1/4 inch ins & outs, a Footswitch input and AC adaptor jack (for optional Boss PSA120S). 5-year limited warranty.

Boss DD20 Features

  • BOSS' most powerful delay pedal with up to 23 seconds of delay
  • 11 delay modes including classic tape delay and sound-on-sound recording
  • New Smooth and Twist modes for subtle or radical delay effects
  • Memory function for changing delay modes seamlessly
  • New push-button knob for setting delay time in fine or coarse adjustments

Playability and Feel
Great Delay!
Your general opinion of this product.
Great delay with a lot of great options. There can be a little bit of a learning curve, but with a little time and love, you can do many things with this pedal.
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Great build. Like all other Boss pedals, it's built like a tank. I could probably kill someone with this pedal and it would have any damage on it.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Great tones. Love that there are 4 presets to save on it. It's great as well that you can change the delay parameters such as Quarter/Dotted Eighth/etc without having to use a tap tempo. Speaking of Tap Tempo: Definitely recommend getting an external tap Tempo for this pedal so that way you can fully utilize everything.
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
You can get plenty of different tones out of this pedal! The Tape/Analog/Modulate settings are phenomenal. The Dual is great as well. The Reverse setting is a little touchy, but is great once you really dial it in.
How was the action out of the box?
How did the stain or paint job look?
Love white/black contrasts, so I have a bias and love the way it looks.
How has it stood up over time?
I have had it for 3 years and still works as good as Day1! Just wish it looked as good as day 1! :P
