Since the Doctor has even more bass sounds than its predecessors do (16!), it introduces a cool, unique pad interface designed like a bass guitar neck for easy programming of rhythm/bass lines. 200 versatile preset rhythm patterns and 200 user-programmable patterns provide ample memory for your inspirations (with up to 100 songs utilizing approximately 100,000 patterns). Its cool Direct Pattern Play function from the 770 lets users assign internal patterns to pads for triggering "on the fly" like with loop based boxes. Built for Easy Operation
Thanks to the DR-670’s unique Direct Pattern Play function, any of its 200 Preset or User patterns can be instantly selected using the 16 drum pads. Or, Preset and User patterns can be easily chained together to create up to 100 Songs. When programming, helpful features like the aforementioned velocity sensitivity and Roll and Flam buttons make your patterns as expressive as possible.
