Fat Metal 378 KB
Here the high and lows are boosted with the onboard EQ. Great for metal solos and riffs.
Aggressive Thrash Metal 298 KB
To get this unique, extremely distorted sound, the MT2's HIGHs and LOWs are boosted, MIDs are cut and DIST is set fairly high. This is a no-holds-barred, aggressive sound that's ideal for thrash.
70s Power Rock 328 KB
This is a great '70s power rock sound with fat, powerful MIDs - great for arena rock riffs. Work the FREQ control to tailor the MIDs response.

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Quality product and well made like all boss products.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Very reliable.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I bought mine at a pawn shop for 50 bucks. Its a good pedal and defenately metal.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Kind of a gritty tight distortion. Like I said better than a fullbore not better than a metal muff.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Darker than the fullbore lighter than the metal muff. Just because this pedal doesn't work with my rig doesn't mean it won't work for you. Its cheap enough you should at least give it a try its very usable. I do hear the boss metalcore is better though.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Very black and evil looking. Looks great.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Sounds great and easy to find a tone if your use to useing sweep knobs.
