The Boss PS5 Super Shifter Effects Pedal takes guitar pitch shifting to the next level!
This next-generation intelligent (meaning it is key specific) pitch shifting pedal provides pitch shifting, harmonies, detuning and wild tremolo arm/flutter effects that bend single notes up or down to a pre-selected value when the pedal is activated. All this and more in one compact, easy to use pedal.

Multiple Pitch Effects in One Pedal
The PS5 Super Shifter does what no other BOSS pedal has done before-provide intelligent pitch shifting and a variety of tremolo arm-type effects in a single, very convenient pedal. Setting pitch shifting and harmony parameters is easy,thanks to simple knob-based Pitch and Key controls (with scale display). Basic pitch shifting gives you very accurate results up to +/- 2 octaves, whether you're playing single notes or chords, while a convenient Key Shift function lets you instantly play a half or whole tone lower. Intelligent pitch shifting, on the other hand, allows key-specific shifting of single notes +/- 3, 4, 5, 6, 1 octave, or 2 octave-great for blending with original notes for dual lead sounds. An optional expression pedal can be used to shift pitch in real time, while a Detune mode serves to thicken guitar tones.

Beyond Whammy
The PS5's Tremolo Arm and Flutter effects provide some very convincing tremolo bar effects-from mild to wild. The Tremolo Arm effect allows you to step on the pedal and trigger a bend up or down to a pre-selected pitch; releasing the pedal returns the note to its original pitch. This effect can also be used with an optional expression pedal for real-time tremolo bending. The Flutter effect simulates a fast or slow up-and-down tremolo movement with adjustable timing and pitch-so you'll never need your whammy bar again!
