Playability and Feel
A great 12 string at a great price!
Your general opinion of this product.
I played every 12 string I could under $700. at 4 different local stores. This was my favorite by far. It has everything on my want list for any acoustic guitar. I prefer a bridge with no pegs for easier restringing, I like a strap button on both ends because I play out almost every weekend, I like built-in electrics and I really appreciate the included gig bag. This guitar plays, looks and sounds beautiful and it really upped my game, I play it every day!
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It seems to be made well. I have only had it about a week so not sure on dependability. It looks great.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It is light as a feather, the neck feels slim and fast for a 12 string. I don't usually use onboard tuners but this one agrees with my other tuner and it cuts automatically cuts sound to the amp when the tuner is activated. (My '92 Ovation doesn't do that)
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
I would say it is bright with an amazing sound.
How was the action out of the box?
Action out of the box was spot-on. I don't feel the need to carry it to my guitar tech for a tune-up. I can't imagine how it could be improved upon.
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish is understated but beautiful. Definately not flashy but quite elegant.
How has it stood up over time?
It's brand new
