Wow!
General
Your general opinion of this product.
I am extremely impressed with this guitar! I am a former owner of a high end series guitar from a well known competitor - although that guitar was well worth the money, this one is well worth the same amount but costs less than 1/3 the price!
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I have only had the guitar for a few weeks but it certainly seems to be well built and I don't foresee any issues arising. I like the fact that there is not a pick guard but I may end up getting a clear cling on type to protect the body.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The neck is smooth as butter! It felt a little chunky at first but that may be due to the fact that I've been playing a lot of mandolin and ukulele lately. Very comfortable!
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Very well balanced - even tone and volume across all six strings. I believe it may actually beat my previous high end guitar in this category. Lows, mids and highs all ring through with clarity.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action was good out of the box - I do prefer lower action so I did adjust it slightly - it should be great for most players.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
No flaws whatsoever. I really appreciate the top - nice wood grain with no irregularities or knots. This isn't the fanciest guitar in the world but the finish is outstanding for what it is.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Again - I've only had the guitar for a few weeks but it seems to be a very solid, sturdy, guitar while still being light and comfortable to play.
