| Subject: | Great tone when it works |
| Quality:
| Terrible quality. As I said above I had two different people that work on amps for a living check out this and the 6262. They verdict from both techs was these are junk. |
| Sound:
| The tone is great when it works. When the amp is broken, which is most of the time, there is no tone to rate. |
| Reliability:
| Less than zero. If you buy any Bugera amp I absolutely guarantee you it's going to break. |
| Overall:
| The tone is fantastic. Good luck keeping it working. I've had this and the 6262. Neither one went even 3 months without having a lot of trouble. I saw two different amp techs and both said the internal parts on these were as cheap as anything they've ever seen. I went to test drive another Bugera at GC but the two they had on the floor were both broken too. |

| Tone:
| Great tone but only when it's working (about 5% of the time). |
| Finish:
| Everything on the outside is cheap too. Very cheap plastic knobs. Everything that looks like shiny chrome in the photo is actually plastic. |

| Subject: | Nice for an inexpensive amp |
| Quality:
| Seems to be well put together, although I've only owned it for a short time. 333XL212 comes with the EL34's, but it's nice to have the option of switching those out with the flip of a switch. |
| Reliability:
| Stil only have had this a short time, but I haven't had any problems |
| Overall:
| Seems to be very nice amp. Tone is good, gain is very good. |
| Playability and Feel:
| The amp is heavy to carry around. Easy to setup |
| Tone:
| Good tone quality, remeber this or any tube amp will take around 100 hours to really break in all the electronics (Tubes, Cap, Etc...) Sound good out of the box, just wait 100 hours. |
| Finish:
| It is ok, Knobs & nameplate are crome plated plastic, but that is to be expected remember the price you are paying. |
| Action:
| Sounds good out of the box. With a little playing with the EQ, Gain and Volume you can get a really good sound. I play mostly metal and so far it has met my expectations. |

| Subject: | great amp, but... |
| Quality:
| I did a somewhat negative review of the 333XL brain awhile back, and wasn't sure if I should purchase it after comparing several Bugera amps. I finally picked up this combo.
The amp, despite its outwardly appearance, seems solidly built and very heavy. The amp handle on top may not last long due to weight, but I can't tell, yet. The knobs have a loose feel to them and I don't recommend turning them with one finger, ever. I like the grill covering the back, providing both ventilation and protection of both tubes and speakers. The speakers have a Celestion vibe to them... |
| Reliability:
| Haven't had it long enough. Ok, so far... |
| Overall:
| This amp definitely nails the classic Marshall plexi tone with significantly more hi-gain potential, but not at bedroom volumes. If you want to play at home, and sound good at home, get an MG Marshall, solid-state Fender, or any other amp that sounds good turned down. This amp is made for performance, and performance ONLY. You've got to crank it up and tweak it out for it to achieve it's true potential, but once you do, it sounds really nice, at any price! |
| Playability and Feel:
| Easy to use. Controls are very active. |
| Tone:
| This is what I was most critical of in my earlier review. All the Bugeras I tried had a harsh, chinmey, brashy, R-sounding mid-range overtone that I couldn't seem to get rid of during tryout in the store, so I tried this one at higher volumes at practice.
Once I had it dialed in, the clean channel sounded very nice and warm, no harsh overtones. The low-gain channel seemed the hardest to sweeten, so I switched to the hi-gain input, the XL switch on, and did a lot of tone-tweaking. Wowie! I played AC/DC, and SOUNDED like AC/DC! I turned down my guitar volume, played some ZZ Top, and again, sounded JUST LIKE ZZ Top! I mean, just like the record! And all with volume and hi-gain to spare. I was blown away...
One thing. This amp does not handle lower frequencies well, and severe drop-tunings may be out. Half a step down is about as far as I ever go, anyway.
I've learned that Bugera amps just aren't made for the bedroom, but crank 'em up and they'll cook! |
| Finish:
| Really nice. Very professional. |
| Action:
| It works just fine. I got a kick out of reading the product guide included with the instructions, describing Behringer's facilities in China. |

| Subject: | Best value for all tube I've ever found |
| Quality:
| Mine is only a couple of weeks old but I've really inspected the craftsmanship and I'd have to say it's very good. The tolex is thick. Nothing was loose. When you crank it up it doesn't rattle. The footswitch is all metal and built like a tank. Good quality there. I think the whole thing is built very well. Time will tell. |
| Reliability:
| Only had it a couple of weeks so I don't feel qualified to answer this. It's been great so far. |
| Overall:
| Overall I think it's the best value in an all-tube amp. It's comparable to Mesa's and Marshall's for 1/4 the price. You could definitely gig with this amp and it having master volume control you can also get great tone at lower bedroom volume levels. |
| Playability and Feel:
| Silly category for amps. My Fender Strats play great however. |
| Tone:
| The tone is really incredible from this thing. You've got separate EQ on all 3 channels. I've spent many hours exploring all the tonal capabilities of this amp and it's very versatile. I've found my favorite sounds for SRV, Sabbath, Van Halen, Metallica, and Pantera. If you know those bands you know that's a wide and vary different range of tones but you will be able to find them. I play American strats. One is standard SSS, the other is HH. Both guitars sound really good through this amp. |
| Finish:
| Silly category for amps. The tolex is thick and seems very heavy duty. That should help the amp stand up to being drug around for gigs. |
| Action:
| Silly category for amps. Action on my Fender Strats is great though. |
