Quality: The mic is as solid as a Rode M3 or SM57. The switches are sound. The mounting threads deep, which helps prevent cross threading. The mesh is solid, not flimsy, though may result with shallowing of the sound in certain uses.
Features: Forget the price. This item should be in everyone's mic locker.
Ease of Use: Switches on the rear. XLR connection below that. The permanent mount at near midpoint, towards the rear. This all keeps it simple. The only change I would make to this mic and others is to make the switch lettering more visible against the body background.
Sound: This mic is as good as one uses it. And by which micpre is used. This mic does emphasize at frequencies 2 kHz and above, by +2 to +4 db. with a fast drop off at around 25 kHz.
Value: At the time I purchased it, the mic was on sale. But it doesn't matter. The mic would cost more if made elsewhere.
