From musicians recording at home to performers, FOH engineers and Grammy award winning artists, the Trion 8000 is receiving these types of comments:

The Trion 8000 has a nice top end, smooth and very true sounding. It's on the top of my list for vocal mics.
 - Gordini with Nickelback

This mic was warm, fat and brilliant on my 200 year old French Bass. I knew my bass sounded good, but it sounded unbelievable. Thanks for a GREAT microphone!

This piece is extremely easy to setup and use. The adjustable polar patters are clearly marked on the mic, so it's pretty much plug and play.
Sound
How is the tone?
Overall, the tone is... AMAZING! I'm a trombonist and getting finding the right mic to capture the nuances of my instrument has fairly difficult. This mic, however, really does the trick. While there may be some sacrifice of the bottom end, the midrange and high end sparkles providing a wonderful result.
