Casio CTK2000 61 Key Personal Keyboard

The Casio CTK2000 produces a wide variety of sound courtesy of the new AHL sound source. 400 tones plus 150 rhythms - ranging from pop/rock to global music - await the intrepid musician. The audio input is another practical feature - simply connect a CD or MP3 player and you will soon be playing along to your favourite song on the keyboard. To help you do this, the CTK2000 includes the new Step-Up learning system, whereby the practice piece is divided into individual sections and then learnt step by step.

Subject:Great Value for a beginer to learn piano
Quality: This keybord seens to be very well made. My 85 year old Mother Had to sell her piano, which she loved, when she moved to assisted living. I bought this piano/keyboard for her to play when she comes to visit on weekends. I had it set up in the guest bedroom and when she noticed it she just beamed and went right over and started to play. She marveled at all the different features and liked the way it sounded and performed to her touch. We have had alot of fun with it these past two weekends and look forward to many more.
Features: I would have to say the the best feature is that it is very easy to use straight from the box. We have not had to refer to the manual to figure out how to operate this keyboard. I'm not the piano player in our family but with the learning tutorials I just may learn a new insturment. The adjustable stand, the headphones, & the power supply that come with the Kit make this keyboard an even better value.
Ease of Use: As stated earlier this very playable keyboard is a very easy product to operate. We have not had to refer to the manual, but it is nice to know that we have one to refer to if needed. You too can be playing this piano in no time.
Sound: The sound is a nice clear full clean sound on the piano mode. If you set the tone on some of the many other tones they too sound very good. Personaly I like the organ tones.
Action: My Mother said that it plays very well.
Value: To see the smile on my Mothers face made it all worth while. I am wanting to record her playing & singing some of the old song she loves. I really want something tangable to remember her playing & her love of music. This keyboard sure seems to fit my needs and it didn't break the bank to do it.

Subject:Great learning keyboard
Quality: For a first keyboard for anyone this is a great keybord.
Features: The teaching/lessons feature on the keyboard are easy to use and have helped my four kids (from 9-14) learn a couple of song in a couple of days. The display instead of the lighted keys help them to not look at the keys when they play.
Ease of Use: The kids just started playing and were able to figure out most of the functions without even reading the manual.
Sound: Sounds great and the included headphones allow the kids to practice without disturbing anyone around them.
Action: Had everything setup in under 15 minutes and was playing.
Value: The price including the keyboard, Stand, headphones and power adapter was the best online or in any store and with free shipping that arrived in a couple of days even right before christmas.
