Subject:Great Value Keyboard
Quality: Construction is a little better than some of my earlier Casios (WK series) I really like the black case better than the WK's plastic silver, too.
Features: Was pleasantly surprised by the keyboard action. Very nice at this price point! SD memory card feature is great. Separate Line and Headphone outputs are a nice touch. Found an "undocumented feature" in that you can expand the auto-accompaniment chord input keys with the SPLIT function. Didn't see any mention of this in the manual.
Ease of Use: You can play this puppy right out of the box - but will want to give the manual a read for in depth knowledge ... like how you have to press 2 buttons simultaneously to format the SD card, etc.
Sound: Sound is OK for this price point. I'll mainly be using the keyboard as a 2nd controller for a virtual pipe organ setup so the sound is not that important for my usage. I do prefer the WK series sound engine over this new AHL (Acoustic & Highly-compressed Large-waveform). The grand piano is very good though for an under $200 keyboard.
Action: GREAT! There is just enough resistance in the key action for my taste. The piano-like box keys look great too.
Value: Excellent value. AMS came through with a great price on this unit.
