The Casio PX3S 88 Key Digital Stage Piano is a pro-level digital stage piano and controller - with all the sounds and MIDI capabilities a serious player needs for studio work and gigging. At an impossible 23.8 pounds, the PX3S offers full-sound editing, must-have effects like a dial-in rotary speaker for B-3’s, assignable MIDI controls, and pianos that sound and feel like a great acoustic grand and are a joy to play.
The Casio Privia PX3S stage piano offers ivory-like keys for authentic piano touch to capture every detail and nuance of your performance. The limited edition Privia keyboard's 88 scaled hammer-action keys provide the weight, feel, and resistance of a piano without sacrificing portability.
The Casio PX3S is ready for the stage as it redefines the digital piano category with unprecedented sound quality and performance in a sleek and portable package. Included grand piano samples deliver incredible realism and expression.
Four layers of stereo piano samples are integrated into Casio's proprietary Linear Morphing System for a grand piano sound with seamless transitions and superior dynamics. The Privia PX3S also simulates the sound of the open strings when the dampers are raised by the pedal using Acoustic Resonance DSP (digital signal processing).
The Casio PX3S electronic piano offers 128-note polyphony and the ability to layer sounds and use the damper pedal without the worry of dropped notes. Combined with control over filter, velocity curves, a 4-band EQ plus insert effects, Privia PX3S piano sounds can be customized to suit your needs.
In addition, there are 250 onboard tones, so that the portable PX3S can cover all of your musical needs. With full editing functions, insert effects, and the ability to use tone modules and software-based instruments, you have complete control over your performance. Weighing less than 24 pounds, the Casio Privia PX3S can easily be carried to rehearsals and gigs.
Casio provides 1/4 inch outputs so you can connect your Privia PX3S to your keyboard amplifier, PA system, or recording gear. The portable PX-3 also has 1/4 inch inputs so you easily connect another instrument or device to the Privia keyboard, which eliminates the need for a mixer.
For control over your sound during performances, assign switches for modulation, rotary effect speed switching, portamento effect, or other functions. If you're using a computer, simply connect the portable PX3S using a standard USB cable. The Casio PX3S uses a class-compliant MIDI driver, so there is no software to install.
In addition to global reverb and chorus effects, the Privia PX3S keyboard has 64 insert effect choices available for two tones simultaneously. Unlike typical digital pianos, the Casio PX3S offers tone editing with control over attack and release times, LFO's, fine-tuning, filter and more. Using the Privia PX3S's 250 built-in tones as a starting point, you can apply effects, edit envelopes, and layer and split the keyboard to build entirely new soundscapes. With the Casio Privia PX3S's SD card storage, you can playback standard MIDI files that contain backing tracks using the portable PX3S's internal sounds or MIDI data for connected MIDI instruments. In addition, you can connect the Casio PX3S to your computer using a USB cable to save the internal registration memory or to share data with other Privia PX3S users.
Includes Power Supply, Music Stand, and SP3 pedal.
