Ease of Use
Great Buy!
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This Casio is made very well. It stands well next to its competition.
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
For this price..for Casio..This is a great machine with a load of tricks, bells and whistles in it. It has great sounds and nice 'manipulations' to them that you can make [sounds] your own. The feature I would add if I could, would be add 15 more keys to bump up from the 61-key..however, 61 isn't too bad :)
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
It's fairly easy to use. The manual is very helpful, although I am finding myself re-reading through it to make sure I understand the features completely. The manual, I thought, could be explained a little better. It points you to this page or that page in the middle of explaining a specific feature. The keyboard is very playable.. Once you learn and get a feel for what you can do and how to, it will become a breeze.
How is the tone?
Sounds are GREAT! Especially from a Casio.. They really did their homework with this keyboard.. Bits and pieces from 'others' were brought back to the table while making this. Hundreds of sounds to choose from with addition to Layer up on sounds and create and edit your own tones. Very nice.
Your general opinion of this product.
I was a little unsure about purchasing this keyboard. I research everything when I am interested in buying something especially something that will get my undivided use and time..I went to play this at my local music store and was blown away. I poured through the sounds and was amazed. I didn't fool with the features too much but just the feel and response from the board was a green light for me. It's exceptionally light to carry..Plug right in and go..Setup anywhere, w/ the battery powered option. It's a great board..a great investment and I'm glad I purchased this. My relative, and other musician buds, use Motifs' but I would confidently bring this into my session and hang right with them!
