Subject:Good cheap mic stand!
Quality: This mic stand is built well, and the clutch is strong. The base is heavy, and good for dynamic mics, but i don't put my heavy large condensers on it. The only thing that i don't like about this stand is that when i'm unscrewing the clutch sometimes the pole will unscrew from the base. So here is a little tip, what i did is apply some of the red permanent thread lock stuff on the threading of the pole and it did the trick!
Features: The best feature is the price! Another great deal from AMS!
Ease of Use: the only not-easy thing about it is that it sometimes unscrews from the base when you use the clutch. but for 17.95 or whatever and some threadlock goo i'm happy.
Sound: when dropped, it becomes quite percussive.
