| Don't tighten the leg brace too much or you'll wind up punching holes in the tube and mis-shaping it to the point that the whole thing is unusable. With a 'grip' type of height adjustment, it works well, but they should have done the same with the leg adjustment. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for this stand...'cause you'll have to replace it in less than a year...unless you're VERY careful. I was going to buy some for my studio, but after seeing what happens with the leg locking adustment in my church...I don't think so... | |

| I bought three of these. This product is made well and a good value for the price. It is a good stand to hold heavy music books, etc. It is excellent for mounting a music stand light onto it.. After prolonged use, the paint on the stand will either scratch or wear off. The bear metal of the stand then rusts....especially if you have to repeatedly transport this stand quite often to different locations. | | Features:
| I use one of these stands in my music studio when I teach students. Different students of different heights requires adjusting the stand up and down constantly. Each time you tighten the set screw for a different height, it puts a small "dent" in the tubing of the stand. After a fashion, the stand becomes much more difficult to adjust up and down because of the dents in the tubing of the stand. | | Ease of Use:
| The product is still a good buy for your money. Just be careful when adjusting the stand height not to tighten the set screw too much. Other than that, the stand is very easy to use and quite sturdy. | | Value:
| Yes, this item is an excellent value for the price. I use these stands on stage on the road as well as in my teaching studio and they hold up very well. | |

QUALITY: This product is well-designed and good, solid construction
FEATURES: The stable, large diameter tubular metal stand is very solid and resistent to tipping while still being compact and folds for portability. The stand and desk are all metal. The desk has "rolled" edges for safety and rigidity. The clamping mechanism for the legs and desk have plastic collars but appear to be well designed and a heavy plastic (with metal threaded inserts and metal clamping screws) that should last a long time.
VALUE: The Belmonte 5051B Pro stand represents a great value for any musician who wants a solid, reliable, and portable stand. If you've ever gotten frustrated with the typical wire-type music stand -- balancing music, writing notes, or falling over -- this is the stand for you. |
