Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I think it is made extremely well. It has the build quality and playability/feel of a much more expensive item.
General
Your general opinion of this product.
I think it is tough to find the features this guitar has, at this price point. Neck thru, compound radius fretboard, emg 81/85's, locking tuners, 24 frets, abalone inlays and binding...its great.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Pickups are awesome. Anyone who knows metal music has heard active emgs before, specifically the 81/85 set...they are great. You can get quite a range of sound types, although I do think the guitar was built for the metal enthusiast.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Here is the only thing I can grip about a little bit. I bought the flat black, which is awesome, but there are a few tiny spots along the edge of the neck, (the binding), where maybe the finish smeared a little, but its barely noticable and I dont care about that anyway. The neck is beautiful, flat black is awesome, with matching headstock also. It really does look nice.
