General
What is your overall opinion of this product?
I paid for a new one, AMS shipped me an out of box, used one.
Quality
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
The guitar arrived in nearly unplayable condition. I was able to adjust everything and now plays fine.
Feel
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Great feel now that I've fixed all the issues.
Tone
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
Actives can be an acquired taste. The SD Blackouts are IMHO, better tonally than EMG's.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Great
Value
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
I paid for a new guitar but AMS shipped me a wreck of a used one.
Playability
How was the action out of the box?
Horrible. Now it's fine after adjustments, new strings, etc
