Glad I bought it!
What is your overall opinion of this product?
I really like this guitar. It was exactly what I was looking for. A really nice playing, inexpensive, backup guitar.
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
I generally play heavy groove metal type stuff and this guitar sounds great.
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The compound radius neck is a real nice feature. I've never played one before, and now I'm hooked. I have smaller hands, so this guitar feels really comfortable for me.
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
The tone is pretty bright, the clean tones are good. Of course, depending on your gear, you can make it sound like whatever, but for what I do it's good.
How did the stain or paint job look?
Paint is very cool. Flat gray looks really nice in person.
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
I think, for the price, it's an incredible value. High quality, nice features, and solid built guitar.
How was the action out of the box?
Action was a wee bit high, but a little adjustment and I was happy.
