Great amp for short money
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It's on par with any other Crate product in it's price range. Overall seems well built for what it is. Could have used a bigger speaker in it that's for sure. The six inch don't handle bass well at louder volumes. An 8 inch would have been better.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've had mine for awhile now and it works just as it did the day I bought it, as a factory non seal. I've had other crate amps and none of them ever really died on me. I just outgrew them.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I bought this amp for low volume jam sessions and the ability to line out it decent preamp and effects to the PA in a bigger louder setting. And to this end, it serves it purpose well.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
N/A
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
It's got a nice tone to it. The effects are usable not saying they are great, but they work nice in small doses.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The green tolex took some getting used to, but it grew on me.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
