Battery-powered, with tons of tone. Now you can take your music anywhere with the TX15, and play for up to 8 hours. The Crate Taxi provides players everything they need to perform when far from any source of electricity. A specially designed Crate 8 inch woofer and Piezo tweeter ensure clean, loud performance from a full range of frequencies. A vocal/aux. channel includes a combo 1/4 inch & XLR input with volume control, and the instrument channel includes 1/4 inch input, also with volume control. Plus, the Taxi comes with a 120V wall charger/adapter for operation or for charging the battery.

Player Type: Anyone who requires portable, credible, tone. This amp would be perfect for soloists who want to play and sing or use a CD player/drum machine in remote areas.

Subject:The ubiquitous Taxi
Quality: I've only owned my Taxi for a short while, but it's obvious why this is the amp of choice for any busking or battery-powered applications.
Reliability: I haven't had it long enough to say
Overall: The sound, build, features, and price are very solid for the price. Any urban musician can justify the cost of this amp: just go out and play in the street until it pays for itself.
