Reliability: Overall: Cool. Fairly unique among pedals that I've used. Although they say it's a copy of the Foxx ToneMachine from the 70's - so it's not a new invention. Quality: I know it's made out of plastic, but hey -- so is everything else these days. Just don't treat it like it's solid steel and you should be fine. Sound: The fuzz tones along without the octave switch alone are fat, nasty, and not at all polite. Switch the octave on, and you get that Hendrix-approved upper tonal frequency that cuts through a mix and literally screams! Reliability: As long as you're not throwing it around or literally stomping on it with spiked boots, it should hold up fine. Overall: This is a must for pedal collectors looking for a nasty fuzz tone and/or a good octave fuzz. Modeled on the Foxx Tone Machine and equally inspired by the Octavia, it's an incredibly affordable tool to have on your pedal board! Playability and Feel: Very responsive and works well with the volume knob on your guitar -- turn down low and get some nice fuzz going, turn up and let it all loose! Tone: There's a wide frequency response on this, so I would say you can get anywhere from a warm, dark fuzz to an all-out screaming, spluttery mess. Awesome! Finish: Man, you gotta love that green color. Action: This is more of a guitar question than a pedal question, but I would say it functions well.
