Subject:
The oddest reverb pedal around!
Quality:
Despite the bad reputation these pedals get for being made out of plastic, they're still pretty sturdy. Don't toss it across the room and you should be fine.
Sound:
The "reverb" is more of a really fast-repeating echo effect, which might actually work if you play rockabilly (you might want to check out Dano's slap echo effect in that case, though). This is definitely one of those odd pedals you use for an occasional departure from the norm.
Reliability:
I don't think these suddenly stop working very easily.
Overall:
No, this is not some high-quality digital reverb that's gonna fool most people. However, it has a particularly weird style of reverb that resembles those old lo-fi reverb units you used to be able to buy from Radio Shack. Check out the VST plug-in "Rat Shack Reverb" for an idea of what this thing sounds like. If you play lo-fi and experimental music, I'd give it a go!
Playability and Feel:
Press the button - it turns on. Press it again, it turns off. Works for me!
Tone:
Definitely an acquired taste, but if you like weird and lo-fi -- check it out!
Finish:
Decent navy blue color -- if you use it with other Dano pedals, however, you might want to put a colored dot or something on it so you don't confuse it on a dark stage with other dark-colored Dano pedals.
Action:
NA -- more of a guitar question.
Skill Level:
Semi-Pro
