Overall Rating
Playability and Feel
I gave this one back due to a cracked neck when they shipped it.
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It's seems to be made good. Main draw back is that it has an XLR plug in the bottom to use with a pa system. That makes no sense at all and adds to the weight of the guitar.
How has it stood up over time?
Did not own it long enough to say.
Your general opinion of this product.
Like I said it had a cracked neck polished over when it was shipped to me. And it has a XLR plug in the bottom. Which is useless and adds to the weight of it. I do not like the tuner, and it takes awhile to get used to it.And I had to ask how to use it. The only truly good thing about it is the looks
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It plays very easy. The neck is not as wide as some i've owned. Feels good in my hands. The ability to slide chords is also good.
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
For the price range not bad.
How did the stain or paint job look?
Looks are indeed the best thing about this guitar.
How was the action out of the box?
Had to take it to a guitar shop to tune it for me. Could not figure out how to use the tuner. I had to e-mail the Dean company. Other then that it plays ok.
