Dean Dave Mustaine VMNTX Signature Guitar United Abominations Custom Graphic

The Dean VMNTX Dave Mustaine United Abominations Electric Guitar is a tribute to the hard edge style Mustaine has emitted over the past two Decades. It becomes obvious just by looking at this masterwork, that a lot of effort has been put forth designing the top art on this magnificent V-style guitar.

Built for image and playability, this guitar rocks whether it is in your hand or on your stand. The Mustaine neck profile enables fast riffing while the top art screams out with a flare for the dramatic.

This Dean guitar is one for both collectors and shredders, alike.

Dean VMNTX Features
  • Bolt on 24 fret maple neck
  • Rosewood fingerboard
  • Dual Dean design black open humbuckers
  • Black hardware
  • Mini Grover 6 in line tuners
  • Mustaine neck profile

Subject:Easily the BEST guitar in its price range!
Quality: The price tag of 300 dollars may lead some to think that this is a cheap, poorly crafted guitar.I scoff at those people, first of all it is a DEAN.All of their products have quality craftsmanship. My friend has a Gibson Zakk Wylde signature, and in the few months he has owned it two tone knobs stripped, and the finish scratches way too easily. I think that this guitar could and should be sold for more based on its quality alone.
Sound: For a 300 dollar guitar, I was completely surprised. My friend has an Ibanez Prestige with a Dimebucker bridge pickup and he was pissed that my stock pickups stomped his.
Reliability: I've had this guitar for about a year, and everything looks and operates the way it did when I bought it new. I play this thing heavily all the time, no problems at all. Definitely a well crafted and assembled axe.
Overall: This is my first Dean, and this thing rocks. The graphic looks 100 times better in person and the beveled v shape and the headstock are mean.
Playability and Feel: This is the most comfortable and easiest guitar I have played/owned. It is heavier than most guitars, but i prefer that. The neck profile is insanely smooth and accessible, and is perfect for shredding. It feels like the ideal metal machine.
Tone: For stock Dean designed pickups, i was seriously impressed. They can produce basically any sound imaginable. Cleans are bright and defined, and when distorted they can hold their own with much more expensive pickups(EMG,Dimarzio). Harmonics are rich and the crunch is razor sharp. Irun this beast through a Line 6 Spider 3 75 watt, and the sound is absolutely punishing. When run on a crunch/metal amp setting this axe screams that classic Megadeth tone.(Rust In Peace era).
Finish: The pictures on the web can't do the graphic justice.Although the face of the guitar has a graphic the back and sides are painted black, which in my opinion looks killer. The overall finish and clear-coat are flawless and are very durable.
Action: Perfect. The only thing I have changed is the gauge of strings, which are now SIT(Stay In Tune) brand 10-46's. The action feels awesome in any tuning.
Skill Level: Semi-Pro
