DiMarzio DP418 Area T Single Coil Bridge Pickup - Black

DiMarzio used the same research and technology of the hum-canceling Area 58 and Area 61 Strat pickups to create the DiMarzio DP418 Area T Single Coil Bridge Pickup. These Tele replacement pickups provide an incredible punch with singing highs, low end snap and tight mids.

Tech Talk
The most instantly obvious quality of the Area T Bridge pickup is dynamics. The DP418 Area T tracks changes in pick attack and volume, and it does it instantly. It’s also very sensitive to string distance. The volume is very high when the pickup is close to the strings, but can be adjusted much lower by backing the DiMarzio Area T away. String pull is not a problem with the Alnico 2 magnets that are standard on the Area T.
