The Bad Monkey is a ruggedly designed overdrive, strong enough for the road, but built with dynamics that will reign in your studio. The Bad Monkey has one of the smoothest natural characters you'd find on an overdriven tube amp but leaves the over-all tone of the signal untouched. Dial-in the tone you desire with its Low and High tone controls, boost or cut the bass and treble frequencies until you find the perfect range and rock for hours.

Lots of people own and sing the praises of this pedal, so I thought I'd check one out. I think it does its job very well.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The switch itself has a very positive feel, solid and stiff.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
It brightens things up a tad, but that's part of what it's supposed to do.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Looks green. :)
