What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
I love that it's not just a basic horizonal bar, but also has 2 24" wings. The one thing I would change, however, would be the feet. I personally like the foot/clamp design of the Pearl rack. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Your general opinion of this product.
I debated over and over for years on whether to invest in a rack. I don't like having the same look as every other drummer out there, but when touring, playing out every weekend etc...a rack is so much better for ease of setup and tear down(depending on the size of your kit including stands/accessories). I play a 7 piece kit, but when you add in the china, splash, hats, bell, ride, and 4+ crash cymbals, it adds up. Even with all the cymbals, I had my rig (including cymbals) down to 7 total pieces to setup and stage. A friend plays the PDP rack and I had a chance to play it, play with it, set it up, tear it down etc, and loved it. For a round bar rack system, the clamps are solid, they don't move, and the memory locks just add to it. When put together, cymbals, toms and all, this thing is solid. Getting it on stage and off, set up, tore down, I love it! So, I decided to purchase the PDP rack myself. I bought the basic rack, and just invested in the side rack extension as well.

The price through AMS cannot be beat ANYWHERE! I've looked everywhere, independant internet sites / businesses, and everybody else sell the basic rack for $374.99 - $379.99, AMS everyday price is $299.99!!! AMAZING!

Chrome finished steel bars and the clamps are a satin finish. The rack all set up is killer!! I've had nothing but compliments on this thing since I got it and broke it out at gigs!
